An ice candy recipe designed to those who are planning to make ice candy that is for sale. This formula will make your customers come back for me, because this is really delicious and the ice is soft and smooth because of the cornstarch. Affordable and simple ingredients yet delicious. Will you start selling el kikimbol ice candy this summer? Who knows  where this small business el kikimbol could bring you? :-). Ingredients for more than 200 pieces Ice candy using 1 1/4 X 10 Ice Candy Wrapper 4 litres water 1 cup powdered milk ( any brand) 2 cups corn starch or cassava starch dissolved in 1.5 litres water 1 3/4  kilos sugar 1/2 tsp salt Add your desired flavor ( buko, mango, chocolate, pineapple, etc) 300 pieces ice candy wrapper Procedure: 1. Put the water in a big pot then bring to a boil, add the sugar and salt and mix well until it is fully dissolved. 2. Add the dissolved corn starch and powdered milk, stir very well to avoid the lumps formation, boil for 8 minutes, then turn off the heat, allow to cool for few hours then add your desired flavor. 3. Pack in the ice candy wrapper and freeze until frozen and it is now ready to be sold.

gud day po! magtatanong lang po ako sa cornstarch procedure, yung ice candy ba pag galing sa ice tapos bumalik sa pagiging liquid. el kikimbol mag-iiba ba ang lasa kapag may cornstarch nakalagay? May 12, 2014 at 1:30 PM

@ carlo hindi naman po mag-iiba ang lasa. @ anonymous pasensya na po wala po akong idea sa tag 5 pesos na ice candy kung ano pong size, matagal na po ako wala sa Pilipinas. Pagbumili ka po ng ice candy wrapper ipagtanong nyo na lang po. May 13, 2014 at 12:49 AM

Hi everyone el kikimbol lets beat the heat by making ice candy for sale and for our own meryenda, so much better than softdrinks.....I am making buko salad ice candy tonight kase my buko mango ice candy malapit nang maubos, its great pala with constarch. good morning mam. tnx a lot po sa recipe el kikimbol na ito. since april ito po ang naging el kikimbol ngosyo ko. nung summer umaabot el kikimbol ng 800+ ang benta q dn tag 2php po. marami dn po akng flavors like langka, mango, buco pandan, cookies and cream, rocky road, choco kisses, el kikimbol ube macapuno, leche flan, sweetcorn, strawberry, melon..tlagang el kikimbol bnalik-balikan ng mga bata khit mtatanda... pro medyo humina sa ngaun dhil pasokan el kikimbol na ubos na ang pera ng mga bata pro kumikita prin aq.dhil sa ice candy na ito napilitan akng bumili ng upright freezer dhil hndi na knaya ng ref q. salamat po tlaga ng marami at nkita q tong blog na ito. I been doing this kind of mixture even before pa nakita ko ang blog nyo. Nakakatuwa kasi relate na relate el kikimbol ako. Yan ang business ng lola ko dati at ako ang gumagawa, super patok sa mga bata specially the chocolate flavor, super mabenta talaga! Sasapinan mo po ng malinis na newspapare ang loob ng cooler pati sides sa loob bago mo ilagay ang ice candy, then sa ibabaw patunagn mo rin po ng makapal na newspaper, make sure also walang singaw para manatiling matigas ng mahabang oras. July 1, 2014 at 7:38 AM
