In early spring 2011, it was found that the ozone concentration fell sharply in the northern polar region of the stratosphere. Spring takes over the amount fridges and freezers of ozone was in the end a record low. That the ozone event has now been published first in-depth scientific research.

Ozone depletion in the stratosphere occurs throughout the globe, but especially in the polar regions at a local spring during the winter. This year's North ozone depletion ozone hole became worse until the Arctic stratospheric temperatures remained very low, an unusually long time. Temperatures in themselves were not quite record-breaking cold, but a cold period lasted for more than 30 days longer than has ever been observed. The end result was, therefore, that the 18-20 km altitude of more than 80 percent of the ozone decomposition.
