Selkirk College has campuses in several locations in the area. Except in Castlegar has also several programs in the nice little town of Nelson about 40 minutes drive from Castlegar. We were met by Tessa in front of the entrance to the school and joined did Dan Obradovic who is principal of the vocational programs at the Silver King Campus. Dan showed us around the campus and what we did see was such welding training, woodworking, carpentry, electrician, mechanic, hairdresser and spautbildning.
After lunch it was time to visit the School of Hospitality and Tourism which was at yet another spot on the outskirts of town. Here we met the headmaster Bob Falle who presented courses in tourism management and restaurant. commercial glass We are constantly discovering lots we have in common with Selkirk College and the brain is booming commercial glass with thoughts of how our schools can make the most of an exchange.
In the tourism offered including commercial glass ski resort operations commercial glass and management, a two-year course is incredibly popular and always have full classes. In training yesterday a lot of practical exercises and practice of ski tourism.
