OCCIMIANO - (gpc) "If the Piedmont Region will not intervene to do the work required for the protection (of streams Rotaldo and Grana) will be necessary to assume that the next flood is considered willful;" so very strongly expressed tecnifrio the mayor of Occimiano prof. Ernesto Berra, after yet another fact flood that hit the industrial zone of Occimiano with the flooding of Rotaldo (towards Casale) and Grana (towards Alexandria).
Between 16 and 17 March in fact, for the umpteenth time the two streams tecnifrio have come flooding the surrounding areas; the most damage are those caused by Rotaldo. Hit the Unifrigor (calculating damages of 100,000), while New Terlegno this time was a narrow escape (although you have to calculate all the work in time to rescue all the material tecnifrio ...).
Dove also affected the farm; "This time we went to the bathroom - says Mario Bosca with his wife - we threw furniture and appliances tecnifrio and we never saw a penny of compensation." The City Council has however tecnifrio intervened in support with a company to clean the mud that had invaded tenement tecnifrio and the rustic.
How do you explain this? In the past we have made some interventions, raising the example (with intervention of the province) all bridges concerned; Now the flow of water that falls from the sources of Rotaldo find more free space coming in the municipality of Occimiano and in the presence of atmospheric phenomena (after tecnifrio all this time not as intense as other events in the past) overflows and flooding homes civil and industrial buildings . It takes at least 800,000 to build a levee and un'arie rolling so that the water while leaving the creek do not go to invade one hand the industrial area and the Cascina tecnifrio Dove and the other the Cascina Nuova and San Lorenzo ... .
