EPTA walk in freezers S.A. as leader of a consortium completed successfully the Environmental Impact Assessment, Preliminary walk in freezers Design Study and the Tender Documents for the waste treatment plant of Thiva, a contract awarded by the Waste Management Association of Thiva Municipalities.
The project was evaluated positively from the Managing Authority of Sterea Ellada Region and received EU Funding, because it is expected to provide a solution for the diversion of biodegradable waste from landfills and will contribute to material recycling.
The project involves the construction and operation of a Mechanical Biological Treatment Plant (Anaerobic Digestion) with a capacity of 32.000 tn/year Municipal walk in freezers Solid Waste, 1.850 tn/year biowaste and 7.000 tn/year walk in freezers sewage sludge.
