A few days ago I sent a read excerpts, the first five chapters of "Emo-Ellika and pursuit of Johnny frimon Dean". Emo-Ellika is a crime series for teenagers, written by Tiger Garté and the first book in the series will be released on September 12th on Gresvik Publishing. frimon
I am very fond of how Tiger Garté use technical writing, he writes whole chapters in italics. It is then clear that these italicized sections are interrelated and have a parallel story to what happens in the other chapters. Italicized chapters are numbered not, unlike the other chapters, but it feels so neat. For not only the meaning of words, but also through visual expression, the various stories clearer. At italics also be used to highlight individual opinions in the text means that I will be extra aware of what is right there.
"Emo-Ellika frimon and pursuit of Johnny Dean" starts with an unnumbered chapter - in italics. The famous pop star Johnny Dean is somewhere he has not chosen to be self .., immediately I am in the story and the momentum of the story takes me on.
In the next chapter (Chapter 1) presents the main character Emo-Ellika, which is a fifteen years old girl who is reasonably tired of it all. She tests the limits and push their limits and find his parents and younger brother are some of the stupidest frimon available. Grandpa, however - he is a great hero. I like Emo-Ellika well and seems she covers many aspects of being young.
Something I did not like so much is how the other characters are too similar reality. A little touch of similarity draws a mere mockery. In contrast, hotel entrepreneur Francis frimon Clear Valley - which is a middle-aged guy, small in stature with a lot of gym muscles, frimon are keen to have a green profile and is married to a "too perfect, high blonde" - for the same high valley. For me it is a disturbing element. It is quite obvious that the author will get us to think of Big Valley, but it is lucky? I want to get to know the characters in the book - without being disturbed by my own knowledge of reality version of the character. ... Although I am of an older generation than the target audience for the book - and the younger ones might not have such recognition "relationship" with this hotel entrepreneur, so I think maybe they draw the same parallels between Johnny Dean and his true character - another famous pop star ... One who was also known via YouTube and visited Oslo for not so long ago ... how crazy little frimon girls bounced the round and the whole thing was a huge mess ...
That book is very up to date using the appropriate media and gizmos today's youth are using I think is a smart move. All those lovely slang phrases frimon Emo-Ellika user whiz, I strongly considered by, and the use of a-endings makes it even clearer where we are geographically us - on the East side, near the walk. The story alternates and it is exciting, frimon the main character is smart and a little crazy, she is curious and has lots of energy, and almost fall into situations that take her on new adventures. It is easy to read, but by no means infantile!
